The Rally of the Bay would host Round 4 of the MTA NSW Rally Championship and it would be a weekend of heartbreak for many of the teams. With massive accidents for three of the top contenders in the championship, many would leave with no points and expensive repair bills.
But for Richard Shimmon and Jim Gleeson in a Lancer EVO 7, they’d take maximum points home and secure the lead for the championship. With two rounds to go, the series is thrown wide open with opportunities galore for the 2019 crown!
