ECCRS done and dusted at Ada River Rally, and the gravel delivered the goods 👊

Jake Bramble and Phillip Bonser took the ECCRS 4WD win in their Nissan with a total time of 1:56:15.0 🏆

Luke Sytema and Renee Sytema claimed the ECCRS 2WD win in their Ford Escort, stopping the clocks at 2:00:51.1 🚗💨

Also in the mix on the provisional classification were Dennis Stanford and Luke Stanford in second 4WD, plus Michael Chora and Rachael Ferrante finishing just behind the Stanford team.

The Toyota Yaris GR crew took the Ada River Rally win and swept all three NSWRC heats for maximum points. That is the kind of day that really shakes up a title fight.

Josh Redhead and Ray Winwood-Smith fought through earlier penalties to finish second outright in the NSW results, while Jake Bramble and Phillip Bonser rounded out the podium in third. Tony Sullens and Julia Barkley bagged valuable points in fourth.

Josh Redhead and Ray Winwood-Smith have been hit with a 2:25 penalty after checking into regroup at the start of Heat 2, 29 minutes late, following a frantic service battle to get their Mitsubishi Evo 5 fired back into life.

That is not the sort of extra time anyone wants in a three-heat NSWRC fight.

After last weekend’s Rally Tasmania crash and now a no-start scare, Redhead’s campaign is making the crew earn every kilometre. Rallying, hey? 🚗💨
